A Family Photo Session in the French Alps

Well this winter just flew by and I cannot believe we are already well into spring (although that is still a bit questionable with the random dumping of snow we got last week!). Apparently the season is over, but one of my favorite things we did this winter was a family photo shoot with the extremely talented Polly of Studio Polly Storytelling.

Polly is a photographer based in the French Alps and we met her for the shoot in Les Gets at one of our favorite spots high up in the mountains. The whole session was very relaxed with Polly shooting photos and videos while we played around in the snow. She’s very sweet and good with the kids, which is a big plus! I really wasn’t sure about the video part, but it actually wound up being my favorite. Polly was able to capture some beautiful moments and expertly put them together in a way that will make the memories last for a lifetime.

Polly is based in Morzine, but will also travel to the neighboring mountain towns of Les Gets or Avoriaz to meet you for your photo session. She can even partner with her husband and capture video of you and your littles on skis! If you are planning a trip to the French Alps or if you live nearby, I highly recommend booking a session with Polly. Click here to find out more about how to book!

I was 8 1/2 months pregnant during this photo session and it was such a special way to capture some memories of us during our last few weeks as a family of four. And the stunning scenery just added to the magic of these photos! I will certainly treasure these photos and videos forever.
